Beautiful and something everyone should see for themselves. There are some things that just can’t be captured in pictures. The pond is lovely but it isn’t lily pad season yet. However….. it was so insanely crowded it was hard to get photos without other people in them.

Visiting Giverny has been on my bucket list for a long time. We never made time to go when we were visiting Paris for short vacations.

Cemeteries are a tourist draw in Paris. Not as popular, of course, as Notre Dame and the Eiffel Tower, but a chance to pay our respects to long dead people we might admire: playwrights, artists, etc. Sometimes I wander and admire the art and statues on the graves.

This is the second art show we’ve been to at the Grand Palais. This one is larger, and more international. And it includes not just paintings and sculptures, but furniture and accessories.

Fascinating collection of medieval art and artifacts. The building is also special.

Parc Bagatelle, on the edge of the Bois de Bolougne is a great area with walking trails, and peacocks!

A prolific artist but I am not familiar with his work. His home and former studio are a museum. We stopped in because it is close to our apartment.
